Great Grizzlies

The Great Grizzley exhibit finally opened at the zoo.  And a special treat for members was to have a viewing the day before it officially opened.  Bennett, Thomas and I dropped Gabriel off at school and headed to the zoo as fast as we could.  It was crowded with members and lot of media.  And even though it ws crowded, we still got an up close viewing of the newest Zoo animals.  Bennett was pretty excited and is now bear obsessed.  

 We even went and hung out with the polar bear (Kali) who put on a great show for us.  We had a front row view of him jumping in the water and swimming around.  I'm pretty sure I was more impressed than Bennett.

No trip to the zoo is not complete without checking out the hippos and elephants.  We were even lucky enough to see the new baby blank Rhino nuring from his mom.  All in all, a great trip to the zoo.  We sure did miss Gabriel and Daddy.
