The Bathroom

We updated our bathroom!!!!!!!  We have needed to make these changes for as long as I have lived here (5.5yrs).  After I moved in Scott and our friend Mike tiled the shower and it looks much better.  So fast forward to last weekend and we now have new floor and a new vanity.  I could not love it any more.

I'll just let the pictures show the transformation.
Before and After - WOW!

San Antonio Fun

OUr days in San Antonio were pretty relaxing.  None of us felt great and we didn't plan anything.  We took advantage of the amazingly warm weather.  We played in the backyard and parks.

Safe to say, he likes the swings

The weather turned cold and rainy our last full day in SA.  So my mom, the boys and I went back to the Doseeum.  We went last summer and Gabe had a blast playing.  This time Bennett was able to try things out and have some fun.  I think we spent at least 45 minutes in the construction section of Little Town alone.  Great place to visit and on our to-do list next trip down.

We got our tired fixed by 9:30am Monday morning and by 11:30 we were packed and on the road home.  We had every intention of staying the night in Tulsa, but the further we got from SA the nicer sleeping in our own beds sounded.  (this turned out to be a smart decision because the next day highways 44, 55, 100, 70 were all closed.  STL was a island.)
Road trips are pretty relaxing for this kid.  Gabe and Bennett did fairly well with our plan.  We stopped in Ft. Worth for Starbucks and in Norman, OK for a PJ change and to let the boys run around.  They were both asleep by 8.  We had quiet the rest of the ride and it was glorious!  Of course, we did call MoDot a couple times to make sure 44 wasn't closed.  We arrived in our driveway at 2:30am.  It was a very long day, but it was nice to be home.

Christmas in SA

On Christmas Eve we spent a lot of time playing outside.  It was so warm out and the boys had fun with the little red wagon that my parents had.  Gabe loved pulling it throughout the yard.  Bennett just wanted to keep up and follow Gabe.

Later that evening the boys got in their Santa jammie's, as Gabe called them, and watch Polar Express.  I really started to like that movie this year.  Last year, the kids kinda freaked me out.  Then it was off to bed and time for us to build.

Christmas morning the boys slept till 7!  Scott and I were up early and just waited and waited for them to wake up.  Then we snuck them past the Christmas tree to wake up my parents.  Both boys were not feeling 100% on Christmas morning so the entire idea of opening presents just wasn't too much fun for them.  Gabe wanted to open one present and just play with that instead of opening everything.  Bennett just wanted to see the Santa's on the tree and grab all the ornaments.

The boys loved their bikes and had so much fun trying them out.  We had a wonderful Christmas!
