Pumpkin carving

We spent the Monday before Halloween carving our hand-picked pumpkins from the patch.  Earlier in the day, I had the boys clean their pumpkins and draw their faces.  It was much faster for Scott to help carve them with that part done.

Overall, the boys like pulling out the pumpkin guts and making the faces. Even Thomas helped out with his first pumpkin carving experience.  We were very thankful that we were able to bring a pumpkin carving knife home from San Antonio- big thanks to Papa John for that!
