Weekend in Dallas

We had a very fast, but awesome weekend in Dallas.  Back in January, Kelly informed me that her e party was going to be a bit more that just a party.  They were going to sneak in a surprise wedding too. Of course, that bit of news meant we had to go.  We worked out with my mom to stay up a little longer and watch the bigger boys.  We ended up deciding that we needed to take Thomas with us.  He went on a bottle strike and is very clingy with his mom.

We loaded up the car and on Friday morning we were in the road by 5:30.

Overall, Thomas did well on the drive down.  We had our moments of crying and then some good naps followed.

Thomas thought he was pretty big stuff being an only child and hanging out at the hotel.  He was pretty exhausted by the time we met up with everyone for dinner.  He was passed around to everyone and then he settled for Scott and I to help him get to sleep.

We are big fans of Fixer Upper on HGTV.  And since we were so close to Waco and had a day to explore with limited children, we drove down.  The entire Silos area did not disappoint. It was pretty exciting being there and going to shops from the show.  The one thing we did not like was the crowd, how dare it be super crowded.  The line to get in to the shop was long and were we herded like cattle throughout. We didn't really see much of the shop besides the t-shirts.  I'm happy we went, I would love to go back on any day, but Saturday.

Clearly Thomas was thrilled.

This is at Common Grounds Coffee, on Baylor's campus. We loved the coffee break.

Scott and I had our first In-N-Out burger.  Neither of us were overly impressed, but happy to finally try it.

Thomas was all dressed and ready for the wedding.

Enjoying 18 years of friendship!
Aunt Kelly looked amazing and Thomas was happy to help celebrate.  He was such a party animal.

The party and weekend was too much for little T.  The drive home was long and tiring.
