Since big brother-to-be, Gabriel, seems to be getting a lot of blog time lately, I figured I'd do a little Baby A update. We have a very short 15 weeks left until we get to meet this little person. And I cannot wait!
We have been having so much fun, one -on-one time with Gabe and getting him used to the idea that someone else will share the spotlight soon. We need to start letting Reily in on the secret, too. But, I think she already knows. That dog is very protective of me, always has been.
Little baby A update from Babycenter.com-
Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Baby's weight — 1 1/2 pounds — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but beginning to exchange long, lean look for some baby fat. As it does, the wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and start to look more and more like a newborn. The baby's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.
I've been feeling back to normal and a little tired at night. It's rough chasing around a toddler all night. But when he crashes, we all crash. I do enjoy by 8pm bedtimes! This baby is constantly moving around while I'm at work and even more so in the evenings when I'm lying in bed. I feel like it's moving more than Gabe did, or I just didn't realize it the first time. I do think this one is laying lower in my stomach than Gabe did.
We have another doctor appointment on August 8, more ultrasounds - hopefully the baby will be face up and we can get a great profile picture.
