Halloween 2017

This was our first Halloween in our new neighborhood and it was awesome!  We took a few pictures of the boys out front of our house before heading to a friends house for pizza dinner.  The boys have a couple friends in the neighborhood and they invited us over for pizza and trick or treating.

After dinner, Ironman, Polar Bear and a pumpkin loaded the wagon and grabbed their bags and ran from house to house.  The boys brought Home at least 5lbs of candy, each.  We did not even make through our entire neighborhood, probably only hit half the houses.

It was a great Halloween.  Our neighborhood did not disappoint us on this holiday.  Due to the craziness of Halloween, there are few pictures from actual Trick-or-Treating.

Halloween Party

Scott and I were able to both help at the preschool Halloween party.  The boys were pretty excited that both parents were there.  I helped in Bennett’s room and loved seeing all the kids different costumes.  Plus, watching them trick or treat around the school and sing for the workers is so cute.  The boys had been working hard on their Halloween songs all October.  If you spent any time with them you heard "Halloween is Coming" over and over.

Since we had driven back from San Antonio the day before the party, the boys were exhausted, especially Bennett and Thomas.  Bennett was so tired and didn’t feel great, we left school early.  Gabriel and Scott had a lot of fun playing games.  Gabriel was beyond excited that he got to have his Dad in his classroom.

We love our preschool and are so happy both boys are comfortable there.

Happy New Year

We start the year out right by going to dinner with another couple, my friend Loreen from high school and her husband, Dustin.  Last year we went to Kobe and had the entertainment of the hibachi dinning.  This year we opted for a nice steak dinner at Flemings.

Scott and I had never been to Flemings and were delighted in the choice to go there.  The food did not disappoint.  The calamari, steaks and desert were amazing!  We will definitely add this to our steak restaurants of choice.

The boys spent the evening entertaining Nana and Grandpa Ron while we were out.  It was awesome to come home and they were asleep.  Although Thomas' first night feeding is usually around 11, he decided to wait till midnight to wake up.  It was probably the first time in a few years that we were awake at midnight.  I listened to the fireworks people around our house set off and then I feel back asleep.  Overall, it was a great way to celebrate the new year.

Happy 2017!
