Reilygirl

We said goodbye to our sweet Reilygirl yesterday(December 3).  She was 13 1/2 (14 in February) and she was my first child, fur baby. I bought her right after Scott and I broke up the second time.  I bought her from a breeder outside Houston and she was instantly a part of the Manzotti Family.

A runt dog that tried to prove herself to the older family dog, Millie. Reilly made it through many moves in San Antonio and even a couple moves around St. Louis.  She was never far from my side.  That continued even after the boys were born.  She was not happy to lose being an only child to Gabriel and tolerated anything Bennett did.  I'm pretty sure she said "are you kidding me" when we walked in with Thomas.

She was a great pup that loved to go hiking with me, loved the water and until the end, loved car rides.  She is missed beyond words.

Goodbye, Reilygirl.

Family Pictures 2015

We had our family pictures/Bennett's 1 year pictures taken a few weeks ago.  I was very excited to see this pictures since our, amazing, photographer picked a beautiful location.  And the fall colors were amazing the weekend we did them.  With all the begging to get Gabe to smile and Bennett to site still, I'm over the moon with just these few that I have seen.  I just can't wait to see more.

Here are a couple pictures from her Facebook preview page.  Please check out Kelly K Photography on Facebook.  This is the third time we've used her and I have loved every picture we've taken.

This week

What a crazy week it has been.  The week started out with 3 house showings, 1 of the showings was a third time through for them...still haven't heard anything yet(Frustrated).  So Monday and Tuesday nights we had picnics at a playground near our house.  One night it was raining so we sat under the pavilion.

Wednesday night (Scott's birthday) I quickly made dinner and we went to Starbucks to kill time for another showing (the 3rd one).  Thursday night Scott had a seminar to go to, so it was just me and the boys and The Wiggles.

Bennett has cut 1 top tooth...it is huge!  It looks more like a permanent tooth with how wide it is.  Guess that is why he is not sleeping well and very clingy.  Plus, separation anxiety is real with him.

Gabe has been mostly cooperative this week with a few awesome terrible 2 tantrums.  He really likes to show his independence and getting him to sit for dinner is so fun.

And Reily, well she is a stage 5 clinger.  She freaks out when she has to get in the car, she freaks out when we put our shoes on, she freaks out when she has to go in her crate.  She paces - a lot.  She is my constant shadow.  I think I've walked in, tripped over and pushed her out of the way too many times to count.

I'm incredibly happy it's Friday and the weather looks decent for some major outside time this weekend.  Hopefully we have another productive Open House on Sunday(please, just make an offer).

4th of July

Our 4th of July celebration wasn't too crazy this year.  Since we didn't have the boys in the morning we were able to sleep in.  And we did, till 8am.  We headed down to Scott's parents house to hang out with them and BBQ.  It was a pretty relaxing 4th for us.

B was a little tired from not sleeping well

A decent family of 4 picture

Ornaments

Gabriel is lacking the ornament department.  Sure he is only 10 months old and it's his first Christmas, but the kid needs some artsy ornaments.  So, at Miss Jessica's house yesterday she and the boys, Ford and Gabe, created their first ornaments.

It is a hand and a foot on colored paper.  I just need to get a whole punch and string.  I'm extremely happy that Jessica was able to make these and Gabe cooperate with her.  I can't get enough of the foot and hand prints.

Since the Christmas tree is up and we've done a good job of keeping Gabe away from it, Reily has chosen under the tree as her zone.  She likes to curl up there while we are playing in the living room.  She can watch us and Gabe's movements from this corner.  Who wouldn't want to find an adorable pup under the tree?

Reily's Birthday

Sunday, February 27, was Reily's 8th birthday.  I can't believe she is 8 years old.  Where does the time go?  Reily probably didn't have the best birthday weekend, she did have to go to the vet and get some blood drawn and a shot; however, she did get some new treats out of it.  Plus plenty of snuggle time on Sunday while I watched a movie and we watched the hockey game later that night.  What more could a pup ask for?

Here are some pictures too look back at Reily over the years:

Happy Birthday Reily!
